  1. Welcome to Ulink Multiservices

Welcome to Ulink Multiservices. We operate the Ulink.com.ng e-commerce website, where customers can browse, order and purchase electronic products, mobile accessories, computer accessories, audio equipment and related items for delivery throughout Nigeria.

These Terms and Conditions explain the rules that apply when you visit our website, create an account, place an order, make a payment, receive a delivery, submit a product review or communicate with us through any of our recognised sales and customer-service channels.

We have written these Terms in a practical and understandable manner so that you can clearly know what to expect from us and what we expect from you. Please read them carefully before using our website or placing an order.

By accessing Ulink.com.ng, creating an account, submitting an order or purchasing a product from us, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not place an order or continue using the website.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove or reduce any mandatory rights available to consumers under Nigerian law. The Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act is Nigeria’s principal consumer-protection legislation, and the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission is responsible for promoting fair business practices and protecting consumers.

  1. Definitions

For the purpose of these Terms:

“Ulink,” “we,” “us” or “our” means Ulink Multiservices.

“Website” means Ulink.com.ng and any official webpage operated by Ulink Multiservices.

“Customer,” “you” or “your” means any person who visits the website, creates an account, places an order or purchases a product from Ulink Multiservices.

“Product” means any item displayed, advertised, ordered or sold through our website or authorised sales channels.

“Order” means a request submitted by a customer to purchase one or more products.

“Order confirmation” means a message confirming that we have received an order. It does not always mean that the order has been finally accepted.

“Dispatch confirmation” means a notice indicating that an accepted order has been prepared and released for delivery.

“Delivery partner” or “courier” means an independent logistics provider engaged to transport an order to a customer.

“Working day” means Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays observed in Nigeria.

“Terms” means these Terms and Conditions, together with any policies incorporated into them.

“Account” means a customer profile created on the Ulink website.

“Personal information” means information relating to an identifiable individual, including a name, telephone number, email address, delivery address or account information.

  1. Acceptance of These Terms

You accept these Terms when you:

  • visit or browse our website;
  • create or use an account;
  • place an order;
  • pay for a product;
  • receive an order;
  • submit a review;
  • subscribe to our communications; or
  • otherwise use any service provided through Ulink.com.ng.

Your acceptance creates a legal relationship between you and Ulink Multiservices in relation to your use of the website and any completed purchase.

Where you place an order on behalf of another individual, company or organisation, you confirm that you have authority to act on that person’s or organisation’s behalf.

You should save or print a copy of these Terms for your records. The version published on the website at the time of your order will normally apply to that transaction, except where the law requires otherwise.

  1. Eligibility to Use the Website

You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract before purchasing products from us.

You may use the website if:

  • you are at least 18 years old;
  • you are legally capable of entering into a contract;
  • you provide accurate information;
  • you use the website for lawful purposes; and
  • you comply with these Terms.

A person under the age of 18 should only use the website under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

Where an order is placed by a minor without proper supervision or authorisation, we may cancel the order, refuse delivery or request confirmation from a responsible adult.

We reserve the right to decline an order where we reasonably believe that the purchaser lacks legal capacity, is impersonating another person, is using stolen payment details or is otherwise acting unlawfully.

  1. Customer Accounts

You may be required to create an account before accessing certain website features.

When creating an account, you agree to provide complete and accurate information, including:

  • your full name;
  • telephone number;
  • email address;
  • billing address;
  • delivery address; and
  • any other information reasonably required to process your orders.

You are responsible for updating your account when your information changes.

We may rely on the information provided through your account. Ulink will not be responsible for delivery failures, communication problems or payment issues caused by incomplete, outdated or incorrect information supplied by you.

Creating an account does not guarantee that we will accept every order you submit.

  1. Account Security

You are responsible for protecting your username, password, verification codes and other login credentials.

You must not:

  • share your password with an unauthorised person;
  • allow another person to use your account without supervision;
  • use another customer’s account;
  • attempt to gain access to restricted areas of the website; or
  • ignore suspicious activity involving your account.

Please notify us promptly if you believe that:

  • your password has been compromised;
  • your account has been accessed without permission;
  • an unauthorised order has been placed;
  • your contact details have been changed without your approval; or
  • any suspicious activity has occurred.

We may temporarily suspend your account while investigating a security concern.

Although we use reasonable security measures, no internet-based system is completely free from risk. You should use a strong password and avoid entering your account information on public or unsecured devices.

  1. Account Suspension or Termination

We may suspend, restrict or terminate an account where we reasonably believe that:

  • false information has been provided;
  • the account is being used fraudulently;
  • payment details are unauthorised;
  • the customer has repeatedly refused correctly supplied orders;
  • the customer has abused the returns process;
  • the website is being misused;
  • another person’s identity is being used;
  • unlawful conduct has occurred; or
  • these Terms have been seriously or repeatedly breached.

Where appropriate, we may ask you for clarification or verification before taking action.

Account suspension does not automatically cancel any outstanding payment obligation, approved refund, warranty claim or other right that arose before the suspension.

We may preserve records associated with a suspended account where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution or legal compliance.

  1. Product Information

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product names, descriptions, images, specifications and prices displayed on our website are accurate.

However, product information is often supplied by manufacturers, distributors or authorised suppliers. Packaging, accessories, labels, design features or specifications may occasionally be updated without prior notice.

A product delivered to you may therefore have minor differences in:

  • packaging;
  • shade or colour;
  • button placement;
  • printed labels;
  • accessories;
  • instruction manuals;
  • design details; or
  • manufacturer presentation.

Minor differences that do not materially affect the product’s function, quality or value will not necessarily mean that the product is incorrect or defective.

Where an important specification is essential to your purchase, you should contact us before ordering to confirm availability.

  1. Product Images and Colours

Product photographs are provided to help customers identify and understand the items being sold.

The actual appearance of a product may differ slightly because of:

  • screen brightness;
  • device display settings;
  • lighting conditions;
  • image editing;
  • manufacturer packaging changes;
  • camera angle; or
  • production variations.

We do not guarantee that the colour displayed on your device will exactly match the physical product.

However, where a delivered product is materially different from the product ordered, the matter will be handled under our Refund and Returns Policy and applicable consumer-protection requirements.

  1. Product Availability

All products are subject to availability.

Adding a product to your cart does not reserve it. A product may become unavailable before payment is completed or before the order is accepted.

We may cancel or modify an order where:

  • the product is out of stock;
  • the particular model is unavailable;
  • the selected colour is unavailable;
  • the product has been discontinued;
  • the supplier cannot fulfil the order;
  • the displayed quantity is incorrect; or
  • a stock-management error has occurred.

Where a paid product is unavailable, we may offer:

  • an alternative product;
  • a different colour or model;
  • store credit;
  • a replacement of equivalent value; or
  • a refund.

We will not substitute a materially different product without your consent.

  1. Product Quantity Restrictions

We may limit the quantity of certain products that one customer, account, household, organisation, telephone number, delivery address or payment method may purchase.

Quantity limits may apply because of:

  • limited stock;
  • promotional conditions;
  • suspected resale activity;
  • supplier restrictions;
  • fraud prevention;
  • pricing errors; or
  • operational limitations.

Where a quantity restriction applies, we may reduce the order quantity or cancel part of the order.

Customers purchasing products for resale or bulk distribution should contact Ulink Multiservices directly for commercial arrangements.

  1. Product Prices

Unless otherwise stated, prices displayed on the website are expressed in Nigerian naira.

The price payable is normally the price shown when your order is submitted, subject to:

  • payment verification;
  • product availability;
  • correction of obvious errors;
  • applicable delivery charges;
  • taxes or statutory charges; and
  • promotional conditions.

Delivery charges may be calculated separately based on location, item weight, quantity, courier service and delivery method.

Prices may change without prior notice. A price change will not ordinarily affect an order that has already been accepted and paid for, except where the displayed price was clearly incorrect.

  1. Pricing Errors

We take reasonable care when entering product prices, but errors may occasionally occur.

Where a product is displayed at an obviously incorrect price, we may:

  • contact you for confirmation at the correct price;
  • cancel the order;
  • refund the payment; or
  • offer an alternative product.

Examples of obvious pricing errors include:

  • a premium product displayed at a small fraction of its normal price;
  • a missing digit;
  • an incorrect decimal point;
  • a price intended for one unit being displayed for a carton; or
  • a promotional price remaining active after the promotion has ended because of a technical error.

We will not deliberately advertise a false price to attract customers. Nigerian consumer-protection standards require businesses to avoid misleading representations and promote fair dealing with consumers.

  1. Promotions, Discounts and Coupon Codes

From time to time, we may offer:

  • discounts;
  • coupon codes;
  • flash sales;
  • bundle offers;
  • free delivery;
  • gifts;
  • clearance sales;
  • loyalty rewards; or
  • limited-time promotions.

Each promotion may be subject to separate conditions, including:

  • a start and end date;
  • a minimum order value;
  • selected products only;
  • selected delivery locations;
  • limited stock;
  • one use per customer;
  • exclusion of delivery charges; or
  • restrictions on combining promotions.

A promotion may end when the stated period expires or when available stock is exhausted.

Coupon codes must be entered correctly before payment. We may not be able to apply a coupon after an order has been completed.

We may cancel a discount obtained through manipulation, duplication, unauthorised software, misleading information or other abuse.

  1. Placing an Order

To place an order, you may be required to:

  1. Select the product;
  2. Choose the model, quantity or available option;
  3. Add the product to your cart;
  4. provide your billing and delivery details;
  5. select a payment method;
  6. review the order information;
  7. accept the applicable policies; and
  8. submit the order.

Before submitting your order, you should carefully confirm:

  • the product name;
  • brand;
  • model;
  • colour;
  • quantity;
  • price;
  • delivery address;
  • telephone number; and
  • payment amount.

You are responsible for identifying and correcting errors before placing the order.

An order submitted through the website is an offer to purchase the selected product. We may accept or reject that offer in accordance with these Terms.

  1. Order Acknowledgement

After you submit an order, you may receive an automated email, SMS, website notification or other message confirming that the order has been received.

This acknowledgement is not necessarily final acceptance of the order.

It confirms only that:

  • the order was submitted;
  • it has entered our processing system; and
  • we will review the payment, stock and delivery details.

We may still request further information, reject the payment, cancel the order or inform you that the product is unavailable.

  1. Order Acceptance and Formation of Contract

A binding contract for the sale of a product is formed when we accept the order.

Acceptance may occur when:

  • payment has been verified;
  • the product has been allocated;
  • we send a final confirmation;
  • we notify you that the product is ready for collection; or
  • the order is dispatched.

Where an order contains several products, each product may form a separate sales contract. We may accept and dispatch available products while cancelling or refunding unavailable items.

Acceptance of one order does not require us to accept future orders from the same customer.

  1. Order Verification

For security and fraud-prevention purposes, we may verify an order before processing it.

Verification may include:

  • confirming your telephone number;
  • confirming your delivery address;
  • requesting proof of payment;
  • confirming the name of the payer;
  • requesting identification for high-value purchases;
  • confirming that the payment was authorised;
  • asking about an unusual order quantity; or
  • contacting you through an official communication channel.

Failure to respond to a reasonable verification request may delay or cancel the order.

Information collected for verification will be handled according to our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection requirements. The Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 regulates the lawful and responsible processing of personal data in Nigeria and established the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

  1. Right to Reject or Cancel an Order

We may reject, suspend or cancel an order where:

  • the product is unavailable;
  • the payment cannot be verified;
  • the payment is reversed;
  • the price is clearly incorrect;
  • the delivery address is incomplete;
  • we cannot contact the customer;
  • the order appears fraudulent;
  • the quantity exceeds permitted limits;
  • a technical error occurred;
  • fulfilling the order would be unlawful;
  • the customer has repeatedly abused our services; or
  • delivery cannot reasonably be completed.

Where we cancel a paid order for reasons not caused by the customer, we will arrange an appropriate refund.

We will not cancel an accepted order for an unfair or discriminatory reason.

  1. Payment Methods

Available payment methods may include:

  • bank transfer;
  • debit or credit card;
  • online payment gateway;
  • approved mobile payment;
  • cash on delivery, where offered;
  • point-of-sale payment; or
  • another method approved by Ulink Multiservices.

The payment methods available may depend on:

  • order value;
  • product type;
  • delivery location;
  • customer history;
  • security assessment; or
  • payment-provider availability.

We may discontinue or restrict a payment method at any time.

Customers should make payments only through the account information or payment channels displayed on our official website or directly confirmed by authorised Ulink personnel.

  1. Payment Authorisation

By submitting payment information, you confirm that:

  • you are authorised to use the payment method;
  • the information provided is accurate;
  • sufficient funds are available;
  • the transaction is lawful; and
  • the payment is not connected with fraud or unauthorised activity.

We may cancel an order where the payment provider declines or reverses the transaction.

A debit alert does not always mean that payment has been successfully received by Ulink. We may require confirmation from the bank or payment processor before releasing an order.

  1. Failed, Pending or Duplicate Payments

A payment may appear failed, pending or duplicated because of:

  • network interruption;
  • bank-processing delays;
  • payment-gateway errors;
  • repeated submission;
  • card-verification problems; or
  • delayed transaction reversal.

Where you experience a payment problem, please provide:

  • your name;
  • order number;
  • transaction reference;
  • date and time of payment;
  • amount;
  • payment channel; and
  • supporting evidence.

We will investigate the transaction with the relevant payment provider.

Refund or reversal times may depend on your bank or payment service and may be outside Ulink’s direct control.

You should not make repeated payments unless you have confirmed that the earlier transaction failed.

  1. Cash-on-Delivery Orders

Cash on delivery may be offered for selected orders or locations, but it is not guaranteed.

Where cash on delivery is available:

  • you must provide a valid telephone number;
  • you must confirm the order when contacted;
  • the full payment must be made upon delivery;
  • the courier may not be authorised to negotiate the product price;
  • the package may only be opened according to the applicable delivery procedure; and
  • repeated refusal of genuine orders may result in the withdrawal of cash-on-delivery privileges.

Some orders may require a deposit or full advance payment before dispatch.

  1. Invoices and Receipts

We may provide an electronic or printed invoice, receipt or order summary.

You should check the document and notify us of any material error.

An invoice may include:

  • product description;
  • quantity;
  • unit price;
  • delivery charge;
  • total amount;
  • payment status;
  • customer name;
  • delivery details; and
  • order reference.

Customers purchasing on behalf of a business should provide the correct business information before the invoice is issued.

  1. Delivery Coverage

Ulink Multiservices offers nationwide delivery within Nigeria, subject to:

  • courier coverage;
  • accessibility of the location;
  • security conditions;
  • available transport routes;
  • order size;
  • product type; and
  • payment confirmation.

Some remote locations may require delivery to a nearby courier office, motor park, pickup station or agreed landmark.

We may be unable to deliver directly to locations that are inaccessible, unsafe or outside available logistics routes.

The phrase “nationwide delivery” does not mean that every order can be delivered to every exact residential address without additional arrangements.

  1. Delivery Addresses

You must provide a complete and accurate delivery address.

The delivery details should include, where applicable:

  • house or building number;
  • street name;
  • area;
  • town or city;
  • state;
  • nearest landmark;
  • recipient’s full name;
  • active telephone number; and
  • any special delivery instruction.

We will not be responsible for delays or additional costs caused by an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer.

Where you request a change of delivery address after dispatch, the request may be subject to courier approval and additional charges.

For security reasons, we may decline to change the delivery address of a high-value order after payment verification.

  1. Delivery Charges

Delivery charges are normally determined by:

  • delivery location;
  • package weight;
  • package size;
  • product quantity;
  • courier rates;
  • urgency;
  • delivery method; and
  • special handling requirements.

The delivery charge may be displayed during checkout or communicated before dispatch.

Unless expressly stated, product prices do not include delivery charges.

Where the customer changes the delivery address or fails to receive the order, additional logistics charges may apply.

  1. Delivery Timeframes

Delivery estimates are provided in good faith.

Delivery time may depend on:

  • payment confirmation;
  • order-processing time;
  • stock location;
  • destination;
  • courier schedules;
  • weekends;
  • public holidays;
  • traffic;
  • weather;
  • security conditions; and
  • other circumstances.

A delivery estimate is not an absolute guarantee unless we expressly agree in writing that delivery will occur on a fixed date.

We will make reasonable efforts to deliver within the communicated period and provide updates where a material delay occurs.

  1. Delivery Delays

A delivery may be delayed because of circumstances outside our direct control, including:

  • severe weather;
  • flooding;
  • road closures;
  • traffic disruption;
  • civil unrest;
  • accidents;
  • vehicle breakdown;
  • courier delays;
  • fuel shortages;
  • strikes;
  • government restrictions;
  • security incidents;
  • public holidays;
  • incorrect delivery details; or
  • an inability to contact the recipient.

Where a delay becomes significant, we will attempt to provide an update and a revised delivery estimate.

A customer may have statutory remedies where a supplier fails to deliver within an agreed or reasonable time. These Terms do not remove any mandatory consumer rights. The FCCPC identifies timely performance, fair treatment and appropriate redress among the protections available to consumers.

  1. Delivery to Another Person

You may authorise another person to receive your order.

The recipient may be required to:

  • provide the order number;
  • confirm the customer’s name;
  • sign or acknowledge receipt;
  • provide a delivery code;
  • show identification for high-value orders; or
  • make payment where cash on delivery applies.

Delivery to a person reasonably appearing to be authorised at the supplied address may be treated as successful delivery.

You should not share a delivery verification code with anyone who is not authorised to receive the order.

  1. Customer Availability

You are responsible for ensuring that you or an authorised person is available at the agreed delivery location.

The courier may contact you before or during delivery.

Where the courier cannot reach you, the order may be:

  • rescheduled;
  • taken to a pickup location;
  • returned to the logistics office;
  • returned to Ulink; or
  • treated as a failed delivery.

Additional delivery charges may apply where another delivery attempt is required because the customer was unavailable.

  1. Failed Delivery Attempts

A delivery attempt may fail where:

  • the customer is unavailable;
  • the telephone number is unreachable;
  • the address is incorrect;
  • access to the location is restricted;
  • the recipient refuses the package;
  • payment is not available for a cash-on-delivery order; or
  • the customer requests an unapproved change of location.

Where delivery fails for a reason attributable to the customer, the customer may be required to pay:

  • redelivery costs;
  • return logistics costs;
  • storage fees where applicable; or
  • another reasonable expense directly caused by the failed delivery.

Where delivery fails because of our mistake or the courier’s confirmed error, the customer will not be charged an unfair redelivery fee.

  1. Inspection at Delivery

You should inspect the external condition of the package when it arrives.

Where possible, check for:

  • torn packaging;
  • crushed cartons;
  • broken seals;
  • water damage;
  • visible impact;
  • incorrect quantity; or
  • obvious tampering.

If the package appears seriously damaged, you should:

  1. inform the courier;
  2. take clear photographs or a video;
  3. note the condition on the delivery record where possible; and
  4. contact Ulink promptly.

Opening and inspection procedures may vary depending on the courier and payment method. Do not damage the packaging or product while inspecting it.

  1. Proof of Delivery

Delivery may be confirmed through:

  • a signature;
  • a delivery code;
  • a photograph;
  • GPS or courier records;
  • an electronic acknowledgement;
  • a telephone confirmation;
  • a recipient’s name; or
  • another recognised delivery record.

Where you dispute a recorded delivery, we may investigate the matter with the courier.

You should report an order marked “delivered” but not received as soon as reasonably possible.

  1. Risk and Ownership

Responsibility for accidental loss or damage generally passes to the customer when the product is delivered to:

  • the customer;
  • an authorised recipient;
  • a designated pickup location; or
  • another place expressly approved by the customer.

Legal ownership of the product will ordinarily pass after full payment has been received.

Where payment is reversed, dishonoured or fraudulently obtained, Ulink may retain legal rights in relation to the product and the unpaid amount.

Nothing in this section removes our responsibility for damage that occurred before delivery or for a defective or incorrectly supplied product.

  1. Order Cancellation by the Customer

You may request cancellation before the order has been dispatched.

To request cancellation, contact us promptly and provide:

  • your name;
  • order number;
  • telephone number;
  • product details; and
  • reason for cancellation.

We will confirm whether the order can still be stopped.

Where the order has already been dispatched, cancellation may be subject to:

  • return delivery costs;
  • courier charges;
  • inspection of the product; and
  • our Refund and Returns Policy.

Nigerian consumers may have rights to reasonably cancel certain advance orders, subject to lawful and reasonable cancellation charges in appropriate cases. (FCCPC)

  1. Refusal of Delivery

You should not refuse a correctly supplied order without first contacting Ulink, particularly where the order was specially sourced, prepaid or dispatched based on your confirmation.

Where you refuse a correct and undamaged order for personal reasons, you may be responsible for reasonable delivery and return costs.

You will not be penalised for refusing a package where:

  • the delivered item is clearly not the item ordered;
  • the package has severe visible damage;
  • the courier requests an unauthorised payment;
  • the package appears fraudulent; or
  • accepting it would create a genuine safety or security concern.

  1. Returns and Refunds

Returns, exchanges, replacements and refunds are governed by our separate Refund and Returns Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

A return request may be considered where:

  • the wrong item was delivered;
  • the item arrived damaged;
  • the product has a verified manufacturing defect;
  • the product is materially different from its description; or
  • an essential component is missing.

A return will normally require:

  • proof of purchase;
  • the order number;
  • a description of the issue;
  • photographs or videos where relevant;
  • the product;
  • the supplied accessories; and
  • the original packaging where reasonably possible.

Nothing in our Refund and Returns Policy removes remedies that a customer is entitled to receive under applicable Nigerian consumer law.

  1. Change-of-Mind Returns

A customer who receives the correct, functional and accurately described product may request a change-of-mind return, but approval is not automatic.

Approval may depend on whether:

  • the product has been opened;
  • the security seal is intact;
  • the item has been activated;
  • the item has been used;
  • the packaging is complete;
  • the product is hygiene-sensitive;
  • the product can be resold as new; and
  • the request was made promptly.

The customer may be responsible for return delivery costs and any reasonable reduction in value caused by unnecessary handling.

Certain products may not qualify for change-of-mind returns once opened, particularly earbuds, earpieces, in-ear headphones, memory products, batteries and sealed electronic accessories.

  1. Non-Returnable Products

Unless defective, incorrectly supplied or otherwise protected by law, the following may be non-returnable after opening, use, activation or seal removal:

  • earbuds;
  • earpieces;
  • in-ear headphones;
  • memory cards;
  • flash drives;
  • batteries;
  • opened hygiene-sensitive items;
  • activated or registered devices;
  • clearance products identified as final sale;
  • specially ordered products;
  • products altered at the customer’s request;
  • products with removed or damaged serial numbers;
  • products repaired by an unauthorised person; and
  • products damaged by misuse.

This restriction does not prevent a customer from reporting a genuine defect or exercising a mandatory legal right.

  1. Refund Processing

Where a refund is approved, it may be made through:

  • the original payment method;
  • a verified bank account;
  • store credit, with the customer’s agreement; or
  • another lawful and agreed method.

Refund processing may require:

  • inspection of the returned product;
  • confirmation of payment;
  • verification of the customer’s identity;
  • confirmation of bank details; and
  • completion of fraud-prevention checks.

We will not request confidential card passwords, PINs or one-time passwords to process a refund.

The time taken for the refunded amount to appear may depend on the receiving bank or payment provider.

  1. Exchanges and Replacements

Where an exchange or replacement is approved, we may provide:

  • the same model;
  • the same product in another available colour;
  • a comparable product;
  • an upgraded model upon payment of the difference;
  • a lower-priced model with an appropriate adjustment; or
  • another agreed remedy.

A replacement product may be subject to stock availability.

Where the exact product is unavailable, we will discuss the available options with the customer rather than sending an unrelated substitute without consent.

  1. Product Warranties

Some products may include a manufacturer’s, distributor’s or supplier’s warranty.

The warranty period and coverage may differ between products and brands.

A warranty may require:

  • proof of purchase;
  • a valid serial number;
  • an intact warranty label;
  • the original packaging;
  • the warranty card;
  • supplied accessories; and
  • compliance with operating instructions.

A warranty does not necessarily mean that the customer will automatically receive an immediate refund. Depending on the applicable warranty, the remedy may be inspection, repair, replacement or another form of support.

Where a manufacturer controls the warranty process, Ulink may assist the customer in communicating with the relevant warranty provider, but the final technical decision may be made by that provider.

  1. Warranty Exclusions

A warranty may not cover damage caused by:

  • misuse;
  • neglect;
  • accidental impact;
  • liquid exposure;
  • fire;
  • excessive heat;
  • power surge;
  • lightning;
  • incorrect voltage;
  • incompatible chargers;
  • unauthorised repair;
  • tampering;
  • improper installation;
  • software modification;
  • removal of serial numbers;
  • normal wear and tear;
  • battery degradation arising from normal use; or
  • failure to follow manufacturer instructions.

The warranty may also be invalidated where the product is opened or repaired by an unauthorised technician.

A technical assessment may be required to determine whether a fault is covered.

  1. Repairs and Technical Assessment

Where a product is submitted for assessment or repair:

  • you should remove personal data where possible;
  • you should back up important files;
  • you should remove memory cards and SIM cards unless required;
  • you should provide relevant passwords only where strictly necessary;
  • you should clearly describe the problem; and
  • you should retain your service receipt.

A repair may involve testing, resetting, updating or replacing components.

Unless expressly agreed, Ulink is not responsible for data loss arising during necessary diagnosis or repair. Customers should back up important information before submitting a device.

An estimated repair time is not a guarantee because replacement parts or specialist assessments may be required.

  1. Product Compatibility

You are responsible for checking that a product is compatible with your device, power requirements or intended use before purchasing.

Compatibility may depend on:

  • connector type;
  • operating system;
  • device model;
  • voltage;
  • charging standard;
  • power output;
  • wireless protocol;
  • memory format;
  • software version; or
  • regional specification.

Where you are uncertain, contact us before ordering.

Ulink may provide general guidance, but the customer remains responsible for giving accurate information about the intended device.

A product that functions properly but is incompatible because the customer provided incorrect information may be treated as a change-of-mind return rather than a defective product.

  1. Batteries and Power Products

Chargers, power banks, batteries, cables and rechargeable products must be used according to their manufacturer instructions.

Customers should:

  • use compatible voltage;
  • avoid overloading;
  • keep products away from water;
  • avoid excessive heat;
  • stop using swollen or damaged batteries;
  • avoid puncturing battery cells;
  • keep power products away from children;
  • use appropriate charging cables; and
  • discontinue use where overheating, smoke or an unusual smell occurs.

Ulink will not be responsible for damage caused by unsafe use, incompatible accessories, unauthorised modification or failure to follow product instructions.

This clause does not exclude responsibility for a product that was unsafe or defective when supplied.

  1. Product Safety and Recalls

If we become aware of a material safety issue affecting a product, we may:

  • contact affected customers;
  • publish a website notice;
  • suspend further sales;
  • request return of the product;
  • provide replacement instructions;
  • cooperate with the manufacturer; or
  • take another reasonable safety measure.

Customers should follow any recall or safety instruction promptly.

You should not continue using a product that shows signs of burning, swelling, electrical leakage, severe overheating or other dangerous behaviour.

The FCCPC’s consumer-protection mandate includes promoting product quality and ensuring that goods are safe for their intended or normally expected use. (FCCPC)

  1. Website Licence

Ulink grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the website for lawful personal or business shopping.

This licence does not give you ownership of:

  • the website;
  • its software;
  • product photographs;
  • written descriptions;
  • logos;
  • graphics;
  • databases;
  • design elements;
  • videos; or
  • other protected content.

You may not reproduce, commercially exploit or distribute substantial website content without prior written permission.

  1. Acceptable Use of the Website

You agree to use the website responsibly and lawfully.

You may:

  • browse products;
  • compare items;
  • create an account;
  • place genuine orders;
  • contact customer support;
  • submit honest reviews; and
  • use website information for personal purchasing decisions.

You must not use the website in a manner that damages, disrupts or interferes with its operation or another customer’s use.

  1. Prohibited Activities

You must not:

  • attempt to hack the website;
  • introduce malware, viruses or harmful code;
  • scrape product data without permission;
  • overload the website;
  • impersonate another person;
  • use stolen payment information;
  • submit false orders;
  • manipulate prices or promotions;
  • create multiple accounts to abuse discounts;
  • interfere with another customer’s account;
  • submit false complaints;
  • upload unlawful material;
  • infringe intellectual-property rights;
  • use automated systems to purchase restricted stock unfairly;
  • attempt to bypass security controls; or
  • use the website for fraudulent or criminal activity.

We may report suspected unlawful conduct to relevant financial institutions, payment providers, law-enforcement agencies or regulators where legally appropriate.

  1. Website Availability

We aim to keep the website available and functional, but uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed.

The website may become temporarily unavailable because of:

  • maintenance;
  • updates;
  • hosting problems;
  • power interruption;
  • internet disruption;
  • cyberattack;
  • software failure;
  • payment-gateway downtime;
  • third-party service interruption; or
  • events outside our control.

We may modify, suspend or discontinue a website feature where reasonably necessary.

We are not responsible for losses arising solely from a temporary website interruption where we have acted reasonably and the interruption was outside our control.

  1. Website Errors

The website may occasionally contain:

  • typographical errors;
  • outdated stock information;
  • incorrect specifications;
  • broken links;
  • image errors;
  • technical glitches; or
  • inaccurate promotional information.

We may correct these errors without prior notice.

Where an error materially affects an order, we will contact the customer and offer an appropriate option, which may include confirmation, correction, cancellation or refund.

  1. Customer Reviews and Submissions

Customers may be permitted to submit:

  • product reviews;
  • ratings;
  • comments;
  • photographs;
  • questions; or
  • testimonials.

By submitting content, you confirm that:

  • it reflects your genuine experience;
  • it is accurate to the best of your knowledge;
  • you have the right to submit it;
  • it does not violate another person’s rights;
  • it does not contain unlawful or abusive material; and
  • it does not contain confidential personal information.

We may moderate or remove content that is:

  • fraudulent;
  • irrelevant;
  • defamatory;
  • threatening;
  • discriminatory;
  • obscene;
  • misleading;
  • promotional spam;
  • copied from another source; or
  • unrelated to the product.

We will not remove a genuine negative review merely because it is critical, provided it complies with reasonable content standards.

  1. Permission to Use Submitted Content

When you submit a review, photograph or other non-confidential content, you give Ulink permission to display, reproduce and use it for purposes connected with:

  • customer information;
  • product promotion;
  • website improvement;
  • social-media marketing; and
  • business communications.

This permission is non-exclusive and does not transfer ownership of your original content to Ulink.

You should not upload images showing third parties without their consent.

Where you want us to stop using submitted content, you may contact us. We will consider the request subject to lawful record-keeping and materials already published or distributed.

  1. Intellectual Property

The website and its original content may include intellectual property belonging to Ulink Multiservices or licensed to us.

Protected material may include:

  • the Ulink name;
  • business logos;
  • banners;
  • product graphics;
  • website layout;
  • written descriptions;
  • photographs;
  • marketing materials;
  • catalogues;
  • videos;
  • software;
  • databases; and
  • other creative works.

You may not copy, republish, sell, modify or commercially exploit this material without permission, except where the law allows limited use.

  1. Third-Party Brands and Trademarks

Product names, manufacturer names and third-party logos appearing on the website belong to their respective owners.

References to brands such as Bose, JBL, Samsung, SanDisk, Oraimo, Baseus, New Age, itel and other manufacturers are used to identify products.

Unless expressly stated, displaying a third-party trademark does not mean that Ulink owns the trademark or is the manufacturer.

Product warranties and technical specifications may be controlled by the relevant brand owner, distributor or supplier.

  1. Third-Party Links

The website may contain links to:

  • payment providers;
  • courier tracking services;
  • social-media platforms;
  • manufacturer websites;
  • warranty providers; or
  • other external websites.

These third parties operate independently and may have their own terms and privacy policies.

We are not responsible for the content, security, availability or practices of an external website that we do not control.

You should review the third party’s terms before submitting information or completing a transaction.

  1. Third-Party Service Providers

We may use third-party providers to support:

  • payment processing;
  • delivery;
  • website hosting;
  • fraud prevention;
  • customer communication;
  • analytics;
  • cloud storage;
  • marketing;
  • repairs; and
  • technical support.

These providers may process limited customer information where necessary to perform their services.

We expect service providers handling personal data on our behalf to use it only for authorised purposes and to apply appropriate protection. Our data-processing activities are governed by the principles and obligations contained in the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.

  1. Privacy and Personal Information

Our collection and use of personal information are explained in our separate Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

We may collect information needed to:

  • create an account;
  • process an order;
  • verify payment;
  • deliver a product;
  • provide support;
  • prevent fraud;
  • manage returns;
  • comply with legal obligations; and
  • communicate with customers.

We will not sell personal information merely because a customer placed an order.

Online sellers are expected to respect consumer privacy, secure customer information and disclose it only where legally permitted or consistent with customer preferences.

  1. Cookies and Website Technologies

The website may use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • keep customers signed in;
  • remember cart contents;
  • improve website performance;
  • analyse visitor activity;
  • reduce fraud;
  • personalise content; and
  • measure marketing effectiveness.

Some cookies are necessary for the website to operate. Others may be optional.

Further details are provided in our Privacy Policy or Cookie Policy.

You may be able to manage cookies through your browser, but disabling essential cookies may affect website functions.

  1. Electronic Communications

By using our services, you agree that we may communicate with you electronically through:

  • email;
  • SMS;
  • telephone;
  • WhatsApp;
  • website notifications;
  • order-status messages; or
  • other contact details you provide.

Electronic communications may include:

  • payment confirmations;
  • order updates;
  • delivery information;
  • security alerts;
  • return instructions;
  • warranty updates;
  • important policy notices; and
  • promotional messages where permitted.

You are responsible for keeping your contact details current.

You may unsubscribe from non-essential marketing messages, but you may still receive communications required to complete an order or protect your account.

  1. Customer Support

Customers may contact Ulink Multiservices for assistance regarding:

  • products;
  • orders;
  • payments;
  • delivery;
  • returns;
  • refunds;
  • exchanges;
  • warranty support;
  • account concerns; or
  • website problems.

Our customer-service telephone number is:

07010008808

We aim to respond professionally and within a reasonable time. Response times may vary depending on the complexity of the issue and the information available.

Customers should communicate respectfully and provide accurate information.

Threats, harassment, abusive language or fraudulent claims may lead to restricted communication or account suspension.

  1. Complaints Procedure

If you are dissatisfied with a product or service, please contact us and provide:

  • your full name;
  • order number;
  • telephone number;
  • product name;
  • date of purchase;
  • explanation of the issue;
  • preferred resolution; and
  • supporting evidence.

We may ask for:

  • photographs;
  • a video;
  • proof of payment;
  • the product serial number;
  • the packaging;
  • courier information; or
  • the product for inspection.

We will review the complaint and communicate the outcome.

Customers should first give Ulink a reasonable opportunity to investigate and resolve the complaint.

  1. Escalation of Unresolved Complaints

Where a complaint is not resolved through initial customer support, you may request escalation to a supervisor or management representative.

An escalated complaint should clearly state:

  • the original issue;
  • the steps already taken;
  • any response received;
  • why the response was unsatisfactory; and
  • the remedy requested.

Where appropriate, customers may also approach the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission. The Commission accepts consumer complaints and notes that providing accurate information and supporting documents can assist the redress process. (FCCPC)

  1. Our Responsibility to Customers

We are responsible for:

  • processing accepted orders with reasonable care;
  • supplying the product ordered or an agreed substitute;
  • providing accurate material information;
  • protecting customer data in accordance with applicable law;
  • responding fairly to valid complaints;
  • honouring approved refunds or replacements;
  • avoiding deceptive business practices; and
  • respecting mandatory consumer rights.

Where we make a mistake, we will take reasonable steps to investigate and correct it.

  1. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  • providing accurate information;
  • ordering the correct product;
  • confirming compatibility;
  • making authorised payment;
  • checking delivery details;
  • being available to receive the order;
  • inspecting the package;
  • following product instructions;
  • protecting account credentials;
  • reporting problems promptly;
  • retaining receipts and warranty documents; and
  • communicating honestly.

A customer should not deliberately misuse a product and later present the resulting damage as a manufacturing defect.

  1. Disclaimers

We do not promise that:

  • every product will always be available;
  • the website will always operate without interruption;
  • every manufacturer description will be free from minor error;
  • every product will suit every customer’s personal preference;
  • third-party services will always be available; or
  • delivery will never be affected by events outside our control.

Any product-performance claim should be read together with the manufacturer’s specifications and usage requirements.

Nothing in these Terms excludes a guarantee, remedy or responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.

  1. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Ulink will not be responsible for indirect, incidental or consequential losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed.

Examples may include:

  • loss of anticipated profit;
  • business interruption;
  • loss of an opportunity;
  • loss of information not backed up;
  • third-party charges; or
  • losses caused by misuse of a product.

Where Ulink is legally responsible for a direct loss connected with a product order, our responsibility may be limited to an appropriate remedy such as:

  • repair;
  • replacement;
  • refund;
  • re-delivery; or
  • compensation required by law.

This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be excluded, including liability arising from fraud, deliberate wrongdoing or another mandatory legal obligation.

  1. Data Loss

Some products, including flash drives, memory cards, smart devices and connected accessories, may store or interact with customer information.

Customers should maintain independent backups of important data.

Ulink is not responsible for data loss caused by:

  • failure to maintain a backup;
  • improper removal of storage media;
  • malware;
  • incompatible devices;
  • formatting;
  • physical damage;
  • power interruption;
  • unauthorised repair; or
  • normal product failure,

except to the extent that the law requires otherwise.

A defective storage product may qualify for repair, replacement or refund, but this does not necessarily include the value of lost files.

  1. Indemnity for Unlawful Use

You agree to take responsibility for losses, claims or reasonable expenses caused by your deliberate unlawful use of the website, including:

  • payment fraud;
  • identity theft;
  • malicious cyber activity;
  • intellectual-property infringement;
  • false representation;
  • unauthorised resale of protected content; or
  • deliberate interference with the website.

This clause does not require an ordinary consumer to compensate Ulink for losses caused by Ulink’s own negligence or unlawful conduct.

  1. Fraud Prevention

We may use reasonable measures to identify and prevent:

  • stolen payment cards;
  • unauthorised bank transfers;
  • identity theft;
  • false refund claims;
  • account takeover;
  • repeated refusal of cash-on-delivery orders;
  • altered proof of payment;
  • counterfeit returns; and
  • other suspicious activity.

We may delay an order while performing reasonable verification.

Where fraud is reasonably suspected, we may share relevant information with payment providers, banks, couriers, regulators or law-enforcement authorities, subject to applicable law and data-protection requirements.

  1. Force Majeure

Ulink will not be responsible for a delay or failure caused by an event beyond our reasonable control.

Such events may include:

  • natural disaster;
  • flood;
  • fire;
  • epidemic;
  • pandemic;
  • war;
  • terrorism;
  • civil unrest;
  • strike;
  • government action;
  • import restriction;
  • border closure;
  • fuel shortage;
  • widespread power outage;
  • telecommunications failure;
  • courier disruption;
  • cyberattack;
  • supplier failure; or
  • severe weather.

Where such an event affects an order, we may:

  • suspend performance;
  • revise the delivery date;
  • offer an alternative;
  • cancel the affected order; or
  • issue an appropriate refund.

We will make reasonable efforts to reduce the effect of the disruption.

  1. Governing Law

These Terms and any transaction made through Ulink.com.ng are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Relevant legal requirements may include consumer protection, contract, electronic communication, privacy, payment, product safety and other applicable laws.

The Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act governs consumer-protection issues in Nigeria, while the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 regulates the processing of personal data.

  1. Dispute Resolution

We encourage customers to first contact Ulink and allow us a reasonable opportunity to resolve any dispute.

The parties should attempt to resolve the matter through:

  1. direct communication;
  2. internal complaint review;
  3. management escalation;
  4. negotiation; and
  5. another mutually agreed dispute-resolution method.

Where the dispute cannot be resolved informally, either party may pursue any lawful remedy available under Nigerian law.

Nothing in this section prevents a customer from contacting an appropriate regulator or approaching a court with jurisdiction.

  1. Jurisdiction

Subject to applicable consumer rights and procedural laws, disputes arising from these Terms may be submitted to a court of competent jurisdiction in Nigeria.

Where legally appropriate, the parties may agree to mediation or another alternative dispute-resolution process before commencing litigation.

Nothing in these Terms requires a consumer to surrender a statutory right to complain to the FCCPC or another competent authority.

  1. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is declared invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.

The invalid provision will, where possible, be interpreted or adjusted only to the extent necessary to make it lawful and enforceable.

The invalidity of one clause will not automatically invalidate the entire agreement.

  1. Waiver

If Ulink does not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, that does not mean that the provision has been waived.

A waiver will only apply where it is clearly communicated and will normally apply only to the particular matter for which it was given.

Similarly, allowing extra time or offering assistance in one case does not create an obligation to do the same in every future case.

  1. Assignment and Business Transfer

You may not transfer your rights or obligations under an order to another person without our consent, except where the law allows.

Ulink may transfer its contractual rights and obligations as part of:

  • a business restructuring;
  • merger;
  • acquisition;
  • sale;
  • transfer of assets; or
  • change of service provider,

provided that the transfer does not unlawfully reduce customer rights.

Where personal data is involved, it will continue to be handled according to applicable data-protection requirements.

  1. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the following documents, form the agreement between Ulink and the customer:

  • Refund and Returns Policy;
  • Privacy Policy;
  • Cookie Policy, where applicable;
  • Warranty terms;
  • order confirmation;
  • delivery conditions;
  • promotion-specific terms; and
  • any written agreement specifically made for the order.

Where there is an inconsistency, the more specific written term may apply to the particular transaction, subject to mandatory law.

Verbal statements will not override these written Terms unless confirmed by an authorised Ulink representative.

  1. No Partnership or Agency

Nothing in these Terms creates:

  • a partnership;
  • employment relationship;
  • franchise;
  • joint venture; or
  • agency relationship

between Ulink and a customer.

A courier, payment provider or independent service provider does not have authority to change these Terms unless expressly authorised by Ulink.

  1. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in:

  • products;
  • website features;
  • payment methods;
  • delivery arrangements;
  • customer-service procedures;
  • business operations; or
  • legal requirements.

The revised version will be published on Ulink.com.ng with an updated effective date.

Material changes will normally apply to future use and future orders. They will not unfairly remove rights that already arose from an accepted transaction.

Customers are encouraged to review the Terms before placing each order.

  1. Notices

A notice under these Terms may be provided through:

  • the website;
  • email;
  • SMS;
  • telephone;
  • WhatsApp;
  • account notification;
  • delivery documentation; or
  • another appropriate communication channel.

A notice sent to the contact details supplied by the customer may be treated as properly delivered unless we are informed that the details are no longer valid.

Customers should keep their contact information up to date.

  1. Effective Date

These Terms and Conditions take effect from:

17 July 2026

They apply to use of the website and orders placed on or after that date.

Orders placed before the effective date may remain subject to the terms that applied when the order was accepted, except where a legal requirement provides otherwise.
